Stryker Corporation is hiring a Manager, Workplace Practices - Employee Relations to serve as a strategic partner within the HR Center of Excellence, supporting the Orthopedics Group. In this role, you will lead complex employee relations investigations and drive proactive workplace practices across the U.S., playing a critical part in shaping employee experiences and mitigating risk.
What You'll Do
- Lead and conduct high-volume HR investigations across the U.S., including intake, planning, interviews, recommendations, determinations, and reporting.
- Communicate case status and outcomes to managers and HRBPs while independently managing a large caseload.
- Develop investigation strategies and serve as the primary contact for reviewing case data, trends, and cultural insights with HR and business leaders.
- Build credibility as a trusted advisor to HRBPs and business leaders, providing coaching and consultation on challenging employee relations matters.
- Mentor and train new and junior investigators, offering thought partnership and support across the employee relations team.
- Analyze investigation and employee relations data to identify trends, mitigate risk, and promote a culture of integrity.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR to respond to policy violations and manage investigations.
- Lead special projects independently while maintaining a strong understanding of Stryker’s business to align strategies with cultural and operational goals.
- Provide counsel to managers and HRBPs on employee relations issues, including recommendations and follow-up actions.
- Design and deliver training for managers, employees, and HRBPs, and support the development of ER standards and processes across the U.S.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of work experience OR 14+ years of total work experience required.
- HR, HR COE, or role-related experience.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years employee relations, investigations, or business-facing HR experience.
- A degree in Business, Human Resources and/or PHR certifications.
- Experience supporting a large commercial organization.

You will be a member of Stryker’s HR Center of Excellence (COE), serving as a strategic partner supporting the Orthopedics Group.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $100,500-$198,700 plus bonus eligibility.
