Standard Chartered is hiring a Manager Transformation to join the Group Chief Finance Office in India. In this role, you will support the strategic system and process build-out for the Finance and Business community globally. You will be integral to implementing complex Group Finance methodologies within an interdependent Technology stack and Process framework, outcomes that impact key Finance metrics and drive strategic decision-making, regulatory submissions, and market communications.
What You'll Do
- Conceptualise technology and process solutions, develop execution roadmaps, and manage front-to-back delivery.
- Develop a deep understanding of Finance Policies, methodologies, and regulatory areas including the Bank’s balance sheet, RWA, Cost, and other financial data.
- Understand the Bank’s risk and performance management metrics in capital, liquidity, management reporting, treasury, and hedge.
- Develop strong expertise in the SAP product ecosystem, specifically SAP PaPM, to create scalable and configurable designs.
- Own bottom-line responsibility for project and technology tasks towards solution roadmap and execution.
- Support the management of Technology build-out for the solution.
- Lead a technology delivery squad towards successful implementation.
- Support business teams (CFO, FP&A, and Treasury) in process embedment.
What We're Looking For
- A strong academic record with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field from a well-recognized institution.
- Excellent front-to-back experience in Project/Program delivery within a Finance/Global Banking setup.
- Proven strategic and analytical skills with a strong appetite for defining problems and offering solutions across Technology and Process frameworks.
- Understanding of Technology architecture and design to drive engineering excellence and offer enterprise-grade solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capability, and ability to work with data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Senior stakeholder management experience.
- Expertise in technology and process architecture and solutioning.
- Knowledge of Balance Sheet, RWA, PnL, Cost, and Corporate planning.
- Project execution and product management acumen.
- A strategic view of Technology and Process.
Nice to Have
- Experience in any of the following functions within financial institutions: Finance/FP&A, Resolution, Treasury Product Control, or Liquidity/Capital.
- Prior experience in balance sheet management, capital and liquidity, FTP, or FP&A Operations.
- Experience in Treasury Capital, Market, Product Control, Balance Sheet management, or FP&A/Performance management with familiarity with FTP.
- Prior experience in Enterprise Product development, solutioning, and embedment within an industry technology landscape such as SAP.
