Hitachi Energy USA is seeking a Manager, State Government Outreach to advocate for company positions and support business interests with government stakeholders. You will develop and communicate key strategies while supporting a coherent government relations message across internal and external platforms.
What You'll Do
- Build relationships with governors’ and mayor offices in coordination with regional representatives.
- Maintain relations with state legislature, authorities, and county and city governments concerning business development.
- Communicate with Managers of Hitachi group companies in prioritized states.
- Host the Hitachi Day event in a Tier 1 state.
- Support Business Units (BUs) to grow businesses.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5-7 years of public policy and/or government affairs experience.
Work Mode
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and is based out of our Washington, DC office.
