About the Role

Visa is looking for a Manager – Solutions Manager in Uganda to lead commercialization and technical solution engagements with partners and clients. You will drive the adoption of Visa Fintech partners for card programs and digital services, combining solutioning, technology architecture, technical support, project management, and client relationship management.

What You'll Do

  • Drive partners to implement Visa solutions, guiding them through technical challenges and best practices.
  • Lead client workshops to educate about Visa's products and partner solutions for issuing Visa credentials.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Visa's core and digital solutions for card issuance and acceptance.
  • Assist clients with designing solutions that leverage Visa's offerings and partner solutions.
  • Manage client/partner implementations, ensuring on-time delivery and successful launch.
  • Collaborate with product owners to design new solutions and enhance existing ones.
  • Ensure client implementations meet minimum requirements and align with Visa's product strategy.
  • Manage project pipeline, prioritize tasks, and drive client engagements.
  • Track implementation progress and act as first line of support for product-related issues.
  • Identify relevant APIs based on client needs and explain Visa's API functionality.
  • Stay updated on latest trends in payments, technology, and business for Visa's strategy.
  • Apply human-centered design thinking to enhance Visa's customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience managing and delivering across multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to express complex solutions simply to business teams and in technical detail to technology teams.
  • Experience with project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience in API development and integration.
  • Experience in designing solutions in payment services industry.
  • Experience implementing and enabling technology solutions with Neobanks/Digital banks.
  • Experience of working and in-depth understanding of end-to-end payment processing solutions across the payment life cycle.
