Firstup is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will lead engineering initiatives and drive the development of our platform. You'll manage a team dedicated to building robust, scalable systems that serve our users.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage a software engineering team, providing technical direction and mentorship.
Own the full software development lifecycle for your team's projects, from design to deployment.
Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions to ensure system scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers and other engineering leads to define roadmaps and deliver value.
Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of direct experience managing or leading software engineering teams.
Proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality software systems.
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across functions.
Ability to mentor engineers and help them grow their technical and professional skills.
