Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Manager of Patient Safety for Saint Vincent in Erie. You will implement systematic approaches to identify, analyze, and monitor patient and employee safety and risk issues, coordinating a consistent strategy for comprehensive patient-centered care.
What You'll Do
- Implement patient safety and employee strategic initiatives at the entity level, developing action plans.
- Identify, analyze, manage, and monitor patient and employee safety and risk issues, overseeing the completion of action plans to eliminate or reduce risk.
- Participate in and/or chair the Patient Safety Committee and the WorkSafe Committee, potentially serving as the Patient Safety Officer.
- Manage and coordinate regulatory compliance through investigation, data collection, and reporting to various internal and external groups.
- Assess opportunities for improvement and vulnerabilities to provide access to best practices and evidence-based medicine at the front-lines.
- Manage the organization-wide occurrence reporting system for patient and visitor incidents.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience in healthcare administration or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, a health-related field, or Business.
