The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse is hiring a Manager, Operations & Reporting. This role leads the operational backbone of the National Centre, ensuring robust internal systems, high-quality governance, funder reporting, and compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations. You will work closely with the CEO and executive team to manage key outsourced providers, support strategic planning, drive continuous improvement, and embed effective organisation-wide operational practices.
What You'll Do
- Translate the National Centre’s strategic plan into detailed operational work plans and frameworks, ensuring clear accountability and alignment across teams.
- Support engagement with external stakeholders, including funders, regulators, academic institutions, service providers, and Lived Experience victims and survivors, ensuring respectful, professional, and trauma-informed responses in all interactions.
- Coordinate organisation-wide reporting on strategic priorities, KPIs, and impact, ensuring data integrity, relevance, alignment with regulatory requirements and efficiency.
- Manage and drive internal planning cycles, performance reviews, and strategic alignment activities to ensure cohesive progress against organisational goals.
- Coordinate operational organisational reporting, including complex compliance and outcomes reporting to funders, the Board and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration, public policy or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in operations management, strategic planning and government reporting.
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, funding agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and an understanding of the importance of tailoring communication to suit diverse audiences.
- Extensive experience supporting governance and compliance processes, including coordinating Board and sub-committee reporting.
- Experience in impact measurement and reporting frameworks, with the ability to turn data into insights that inform decision-making.
- Highly organised and analytical, with strong project management skills and the ability to navigate competing priorities and complex stakeholder environments.
- Aligned with the National Centre’s mission to disrupt child sexual abuse and bring about systemic change.
- A trauma-informed, ethical and survivor-engaged approach to your work, and an understanding of the critical importance of working in partnership with people with Lived Experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally within the not-for-profit or public sector.

You will work closely with the CEO and executive team, reporting directly to the CEO.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 (FTE) per annum excluding superannuation.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne (Naarm). It is a remote-first role.
