Prudential is hiring a Manager of IFRS17 Reporting (Actuarial) to oversee our IFRS17 financial planning, reporting, and process optimization. This role is central to providing technical guidance and leading key implementation projects.
What You'll Do
- Perform and explain key drivers for IFRS17 Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting within agreed timelines.
- Review and optimize the Budgeting and Forecasting process to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and stronger controls.
- Perform IFRS17 financial impact assessments for annual assumption reviews, expense studies, and other projects.
- Ensure IFRS17 Reports are produced accurately and provide day-to-day technical and managerial guidance to the Actuarial workstream.
- Lead the local implementation of IFRS17 solution enhancements and actuarial model improvements.
- Support other projects, including actuarial components for system redevelopment initiatives.
- Ensure proper SOP documentation is maintained.
- Build team capacity through the training of junior team members.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the Life or Takaful industry.
- Good progress on actuarial examinations.
- Proficient in using Prophet and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in English.
- Able to work independently.
