About the Role

nVent is looking for an HR Manager to act as a key HR Generalist for a specific location. In this role, you will be the operational lead for a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring smooth employee experiences and organizational compliance. You will report to the HR Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Support in recruitment and selection processes.
  • Schedule and conduct induction/orientation programs for new employees.
  • Ensure completion of all pre- and post-joining activities, including arranging workstations, equipment, and access.
  • Educate employees on company policies.
  • Generate attendance data and consolidate inputs for payroll processing, including leave records and statutory contributions.
  • Handle employee grievances related to salary, compensation structure, and taxation, ensuring any arrears are corrected.
  • Collect employee investment proofs and supporting documents.
  • Ensure all required statutory compliances are followed at the site, including UAN allotment and monthly challan generation.
  • Support in identifying training needs, preparing training calendars, and arranging internal/external sessions.
  • Monitor training attendance, feedback, and effectiveness, communicating needs to the HR Manager.
  • Support in developing business-friendly HR processes, policies, and practices.
  • Interface with department heads for performance mapping and facilitate the performance review process.
  • Ensure objective/goal setting is completed as per SMART format and solve employee concerns.
  • Maintain and update the employee database, providing data analysis and reports as required.
  • Handle HR audits and guide the team for HR process audits.

What We're Looking For

  • Academic background in MBA / PG in Human Resources.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong expertise in HR and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability in planning, scheduling, and organizing.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the HR Manager and will be responsible for the HR operations at your assigned location.
