Standard Chartered is looking for a Manager to take ownership of financial performance management, reporting, and analytics. This role partners with senior leaders to deliver high-quality executive reporting and manages end-to-end financial processes including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and analysis.
What You'll Do
- Partner with senior leaders to drive performance management reporting and analytics through high-quality executive decks.
- Engage with senior stakeholders including the Product CFO and business leaders.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of Product reports, reviewing key reports to senior management such as MBR, Monthly Flash and Outlook, and the Corporate Plan.
- Review financial processes performed by other GPO teams, ensuring quality and overseeing all activities end-to-end including Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Management Reporting, Financial Analysis, Variance Analysis, Headcount reporting, Efficiency tracking, Accounting & Closing.
- Understand financial processes end-to-end and respond quickly to ad-hoc requirements while ensuring output quality and turnaround time.
- Drive process improvement, efficiency, and resolution of core business issues within the team.
- Ensure the highest quality of reports produced by the team, managing all relevant processes and timelines.
- Continuously review processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Focus on productivity and continuous improvement to drive team efficiencies.
- Manage stakeholders and handle escalations effectively.
- Work with other team leaders and across Global Financial Service functions to ensure cooperation and smooth operations.

What We're Looking For
- A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Finance.
- A strong analytical and strategic mindset coupled with thorough understanding of Business Performance.
- Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale to apply them across relevant performance management outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, have a sense of urgency to prioritize core asks, and lead through ambiguities.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to agree on solutions in an unstructured environment.
- A team player with management ability and a track record to secure the confidence and respect of peers, stakeholders, and the management team.
- Experience of having led large teams, including senior and experienced professionals.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Variance Analysis, Stakeholder management, and MI Reporting.
- Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale relevant to the Performance management process.
- Experience in managing and mentoring individuals and nurturing relationships across stakeholders.
- Ability to culturally orient in diverse and international team environments and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge around Treasury/FTP systems.
- Experience with Tableau Dashboards.
