Allegion is hiring a Manager of Fleet Services to lead fleet management across the Americas for all company-issued leased cars, trucks, and service vans. You will be responsible for performing detailed financial analysis, initiating and adjusting company policy, and ensuring regulatory and DOT compliance. This role is pivotal in creating peace of mind by pioneering safety and security within our operations.
What You'll Do
- Manage all Fleet & Safety related activities.
- Manage the relationship and business performance requirements of third-party Fleet Service Providers.
- Lead the coordination of fleet delivery schedules with Fleet Suppliers in the U.S. & Canada.
- Lead the Fleet Services Council for governance and oversight of the Fleet Services Program for the Americas.
- Provide management and oversight of merger and acquisition tasks related to fleet transition services.
- Produce complex financial comparative analysis for the life cycle management of the Fleet.
- Negotiate business terms with OEM manufacturers for establishment of total cost for the entire Fleet.
- Manage the Order Cycle for Fleet and Replacement Schedule.
- Establish Policy and Procedure requirements for the user community assigned fleet vehicles.
- Provide oversight and monitoring of training and safety protocols related to the Fleet.
- Resolve issues between government entities and Users of the Fleet.
- Collaborate with internal leaders in Sales and Service for Fleet assignments.
- Institute standards and practices that reduce risks and liabilities to Allegion.
- Project-manage portfolio initiatives involving fleet services including project approval, cost analysis, tracking and progress reporting.
- Engage internal and external legal resources to review lease documentation.
- Prepare reports to key stakeholders as required.
- Identify and engage critical resources and skills as necessary to complete engagements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive responsibilities in Corporate Fleet Administration.
- In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles relating to Fleet Services leases & purchases.
- Strong aptitude for all aspects of nationwide fleet operations including cars, light trucks, medium duty trucks, service vans, decaling upfitting, ancillary equipment, and fuel purchasing practices.
- Knowledge of insurance practices, risk management and collision repairs.
- Analytical, strategic and creative thinker in developing and presenting financial analysis as a basis for negotiations.
- Team builder who can motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, clients, third-party providers, and OEM vendors.
- General understanding of contract law.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Excellent organization, administration, and time management skills.
- Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
