CSL is hiring a Manager Financial Accounting to lead our Account to Report team in Melbourne. This role is responsible for executing accurate and timely financial accounting activities for multiple entities, driving continuous improvement, and serving as a key contact for the wider Finance organisation.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Financial Accounting team to deliver accurate and timely execution of Financial Accounting activities in adherence with the Group financial timetable.
- Oversee the team's activities, including quality review, work assignment, and ensuring adherence to compliance & control.
- Manage group and local audits and statutory reporting for responsible entities, leading the end-to-end ATR process.
- Conduct balance sheet and cash flow forecasting / budgeting, including support of transacting in planning system.
- Manage team performance against KPIs and SLAs defined as part of the service management framework.
- Lead, motivate and develop employees within the team including long-term talent development and succession planning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification required.
- 5+ years' relevant experience in a multi-national company.
- 1-3 years' supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience.
- Microsoft Office skills – in particular Excel and Word.
- Results orientated and results driven individual who takes ownership and works independently.
- Effective communication skills, persuasive, pragmatic and flexible.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
Nice to Have
- MBA or other advanced degree in related field desirable.
- Previous experience of SAP desirable.
- History of process improvement in prior roles.

You will be part of the Account to Report team and report to the Associate Director, Head of Financial Accounting.
