Novo Nordisk, a company dedicated to defeating serious chronic diseases, is hiring a Manager, Field Market Access. You will lead the regional team of West Spain to bring the national Market Access strategy to life. Your role is to drive cross-functional collaboration, build influential relationships, and anticipate reimbursement barriers to secure sustainable access for current and future treatments.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a high-performing market access team, setting strategic direction, building capabilities, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensure an optimal definition and execution of comprehensive regional market access strategies that optimize patient access, reimbursement outcomes, and commercial performance across our therapy areas.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional payers, health authorities, and other key decision-makers.
- Shape pricing and reimbursement approaches by driving health economic value demonstration, building compelling payer value propositions, and leading negotiations with key stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Global Market Access teams to ensure integrated planning and execution.
- Lead health economics and outcomes research initiatives that generate compelling real-world evidence to support access and reimbursement discussions.
- Represent market access leadership in regional and international forums, contributing to global best practices and bringing external insights back to strengthen regional capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in health economics, pharmacy, life sciences, business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in a Market Access department.
- Previous experience of +2 years leading teams as a people manager.
- Demonstrated leadership experience driving results through others.
- Deep understanding of the Spanish healthcare system, including regional and national payer dynamics, HTA processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.

You will report to the Market Access & Public Affairs Director and lead the regional team of West Spain.
