About the Role

Canada Life is seeking a Manager, Executive Development Programs to shape the future of leadership within our organization. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Executive Talent Development & Succession, you will be responsible for the comprehensive leadership development framework for executive, senior leader, and high-potential populations.

What You'll Do

  • Translate executive program vision into an integrated delivery roadmap.
  • Coordinate sequencing of program components like 360 feedback, case-based learning, and experiential sessions.
  • Manage vendor relationships with partners such as business schools and 360 providers.
  • Partner with the Learning and Performance COE for internal design, facilitation, and implementation support.
  • Oversee all program logistics, communications, and participant experience.
  • Track outcomes and support post-program integration for participants.
  • Support alignment between leadership programs and enterprise talent and succession processes.
  • Track participation and development outcomes across leadership cohorts.
  • Contribute insights to talent reviews and workforce planning discussions.
  • Help build scalable models for future program cohorts.
  • Prepare updates and materials for senior leadership audiences.
  • Partner closely with HR, the Learning and Performance COE, Communications, and business leaders.
  • Manage program budgets, timelines, and risk.
  • Ensure enterprise alignment and high standards of execution.

What We're Looking For

  • 6-8+ years of experience in program management, leadership development, human resources, talent management, or enterprise initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Direct experience working with and influencing senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and vendor management skills.
  • Enterprise thinking and systems thinking capabilities.
  • Strong program management discipline.
  • Ability to build stakeholder influence and rapport.
  • A talent mindset focused on development outcomes.
  • A commitment to execution excellence.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to high-potential development or succession processes.
  • Familiarity with 360 feedback tools and executive education partnerships.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Associate Vice President, Executive Talent Development & Succession and partner extensively with the Learning and Performance Center of Excellence (COE), HR, Communications, and business leaders across the enterprise.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $96,200 - $146,200
