Responsibilities
- Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development for a team of full-stack engineers.
- Support engineers as individuals through coaching, mentorship, and creating an environment where they can excel.
- Define team direction, goals, and priorities by translating product strategy into actionable plans and consistent delivery.
- Promote a collaborative culture centered on ownership, technical excellence, and ongoing growth.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of full-stack features, balancing scope, quality, and deadlines.
- Stay technically engaged to guide architectural decisions, review work effectively, and resolve complex challenges.
- Manage architectural evolution and technical debt with a focus on long-term system health and delivery demands.
- Enforce standards for code quality, testing, performance, monitoring, and operational responsibility.
- Clarify and solve ambiguous or undefined problems for both individual contributors and the team.
- Adjust to shifting priorities by reorganizing workloads while maintaining team momentum and morale.
- Identify and eliminate obstacles related to technology, processes, or cross-team dependencies.
- Take accountability for results by upholding high standards and ensuring consistent progress.
- Collaborate with Product Management to align engineering efforts with business objectives and ensure reliable delivery planning.
- Work closely with other engineering, platform, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality output.
- Drive improvements in processes, standards, and workflows across the organization beyond your immediate team.
- Refine Agile practices to boost team velocity, code quality, and delivery reliability.
