Bugcrowd is seeking a Manager, Engineering to lead our Integration Engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and developing our cloud native, API-first Security Knowledge Platform, ensuring the team delivers secure, robust integrations and platform services while driving key architectural initiatives.

What You'll Do

Lead and grow a highly skilled full-stack engineering team (backend-heavy) delivering secure, robust integrations and platform services.
Drive architectural initiatives to evolve the platform into a service-oriented, high-performance ecosystem.
Establish technical direction, service boundaries, and engineering standards for integrations and backend systems.
Collaborate with product, security, platform, and design teams to deliver seamless customer and internal experiences.
Mentor engineers at all levels and foster a culture of ownership, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
Improve internal tooling for teams such as Application Security Engineers who process vulnerability insights.
Ensure the team’s delivery quality, operational excellence, and alignment with Bugcrowd’s engineering principles.
Partner with stakeholders to identify new integration opportunities that drive business value.
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality services.
Manage and grow team performance, goals, and career development.
Balance people leadership, technical guidance, and delivery management.
Hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent; build a high-performing team.
Remove blockers, manage risks, and facilitate effective communication across teams.

What We're Looking For

15+ years of total professional experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in the Cyber security domain.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Strong experience in cloud-native API and microservices architecture.
Proven experience managing complex cross-system integrations and testing.
Strong background in agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
A strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

Team & Environment

You will lead the Integration Engineering team, reporting into our engineering leadership.
