Hims & Hers is hiring a Manager, Corporate Communications to execute a world-class communications strategy. You'll help partners, investors, lawmakers, and the public connect with our mission and brand. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you'll support high-priority initiatives across business, policy, executive, and trust & safety communications.
What You'll Do
- Support and strengthen a strategy and narrative that increases appreciation for Hims & Hers' unique direct-to-consumer business model, industry expertise, and brand resonance.
- Serve as a key team member on announcements, initiatives, and campaigns that promote and protect the company's reputation, including reactive issues management.
- Lead the strategy behind our Comms X handle and develop content that reaches press, investors, and key stakeholders with consistent, creative storytelling.
- Draft and refine communications related to regulatory developments, legislative priorities, and consumer safety.
- Develop a range of communication materials including messaging, scripts, press materials, and company presentations.
- Monitor sentiment, media cycles, competitive intelligence, and policy trends to inform strategy and narrative development.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in corporate communications, financial, policy, or crisis communications.
- A Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or public relations.
- Knowledge of, and comfort with, public policy, as well as experience operating within a regulated industry.
- Experience building relationships with media beyond day-to-day news alerts.
- Outstanding and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with cross-functional partners across legal, policy, investor relations, clinical, and quality & safety functions.
- Proven ability to support fast, high-quality responses to crisis situations as well as looking around corners to reduce risk.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a bias towards action.
Nice to Have
- Agency experience or in-house experience at a public company.
Team & Environment
You'll report to the Director of Corporate Communications. You'll work closely with senior members of the Communications team and cross-functional partners in legal, finance, government relations, and marketing.
