1Password is looking for a Manager, Business Development to lead a team responsible for generating high-quality opportunities. This key leadership role involves coaching BDRs, optimizing processes, and collaborating across go-to-market functions to drive scalable, sustainable growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee both inbound and outbound lead generation efforts to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Coach, develop, and inspire a team of BDRs to exceed targets, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline by identifying and developing high-potential BDRs for future roles.
- Continuously assess and optimize processes for lead generation, qualification, and handoff.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement to align strategies.
- Provide ongoing training and performance feedback focused on prospecting, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Leverage technology and tools to drive productivity and data-informed decision-making.
- Contribute to a high-performance, growth-oriented environment that encourages continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in SaaS, with proven success leading or scaling BDR/SDR teams, or progressing from a BDR/SDR role into closing and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering accountability and continuous growth.
- Strong results orientation with a focus on achieving targets, driving pipeline generation, and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and constructive feedback.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, and other GTM teams.
- Growth mindset and curiosity, with a desire for continuous learning and adaptation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with sales tools and technologies including Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
