Responsibilities
- Produce and evaluate quarterly and annual consolidated management and operational performance, ensuring divisional analyses are accurate, clear, and well-articulated.
- Assist in preparing executive-level reports such as the President’s Report, Audit Committee materials, Employee Webinar content, and planning and forecasting documentation.
- Go beyond data aggregation by critically reviewing, questioning, and combining inputs to uncover trends, risks, and discrepancies in results.
- Create and sustain high-standard management commentary that remains consistent across reporting periods, directly tied to financial and operational drivers, and independently validated by the team.
- Maintain, update, and refine core financial models—including GAAP/Stat and capital models—with emphasis on analytical value.
- Support the evolution of reporting systems by transitioning from spreadsheet-based processes to standardized, automated, and interactive reporting tools, including developing dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to improve speed and reduce reporting cycle strain.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Accounting teams to understand the underlying business dynamics, not just final reported figures.
- Conduct special analyses and contribute to projects that enhance the quality, accountability, and depth of reporting insights.
