Martin Marietta is seeking a Management Associate (Production) for our Bridgeport, TX location. This entry-level position is designed for recent college graduates who will enter an 18 to 24-month formal training program to learn the aggregates and mining business and develop critical production and leadership skills. Upon successful completion, you will be considered for promotion as the first step in your management career.
What You'll Do
- Adhere to and enforce prescribed ethics, safety, and environmental measures.
- Use engineering principles to assist in pit development, plant design, and improving production capacities.
- Operate and maintain equipment throughout the plant including crushers, screens, conveyors, and heavy off-road equipment.
- Assist in the blasting process including laying out drill patterns and loading shots.
- Become skilled at completing quality control tests.
- Provide a high level of customer service by following established procedures and through personal actions.
- Become familiar with the traits of high-performing managers at Martin Marietta.
- Provide leadership and direction for other employees as needed.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with its policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or related fields completed in 2024 or Spring 2025.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to learn technical processes.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word and Excel).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity and knowledge of the mining and aggregates industry.
- Previous industry exposure or experience.
