Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the business and a wide range of stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely and transparent financial insights
- Help guide decision-making, enhance performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide clear, insightful financial advice that supports effective decision-making across the business
- Prepare timely and accurate reporting, analysis and interpretation of costs, trends and key performance metrics
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and planning processes by engaging stakeholders, reviewing inputs and supporting strong financial governance
- Complete month-end activities, including journals and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and transparency
- Support joint venture and project-related financial activities, including cost allocations, capitalisation reviews, and other priority projects
Requirements
- Qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related field
- CA or CPA accreditation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build respectful, positive working relationships
- A continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to remain calm, thoughtful and solutions-focused in busy periods
Nice to Have
- Experience in management accounting, budgeting or forecasting
- Industry experience in gas or heavy assets is welcomed but not essential
