Recruitment Empire is looking for a Malay to English Remote Telephone Video Interpreter to facilitate communication between clients and individuals with limited English proficiency. You will provide accurate and confidential interpreting services remotely in a variety of professional settings.
What You'll Do
- Interpret between English and Malay over the phone or video.
- Provide interpretation services to clients and customers with limited English Proficiency.
- Interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services.
- Check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence.
- Perform conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Provide an accurate, confidential, and impartial interpreting service.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in English and Malay.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- You must be aged 21 or over.
Nice to Have
- Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages, or any other interpreting-related qualification.
- NRPSI, CIOL, or ITI registration.
