Wolters Kluwer Health’s Clinical Decision Support and Provider Solutions (CDSP) unit is hiring a Major & Strategic Account Executive to lead business growth and expansion within large hospital and health systems. In this remote position covering the New England territory, you will connect directly with C-suite and key decision-makers, using a value-driven, relationship-based sales model for our hospital software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Identify target opportunities, build relationships with stakeholders and key decision makers, and define opportunity accountability by role for the active selling phase.
- Develop customized product solution proposals and conduct product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with Sales teams for timely contract creation, terms and conditions development, quoting, and modifications.
- Closely manage deals through closure and keep management informed of any risks or delays.
- Retain customers and create cross-sell/up-sell opportunities in your named customer base.
- Conduct regular account review meetings and analyze account utilization reporting to provide recommendations.
- Oversee contract renewals.
- Collaborate with Marketing on account communications planning and marketing campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5 or more years of B2B Healthcare sales experience in a comparable sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and present to C-Suite level and other key decision makers.
- Excellent account management skills and ability to balance external and internal business priorities.
- Ability to demonstrate and communicate the value of sophisticated and complex products/technologies.
- Highly motivated, with a proven record of over-achieving individual and team-based targets.
- Ability to construct, present, and execute a Territory Business Plan.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application.
Nice to Have
- MBA preferred.
- Prior HIT or Software/SaaS sales experience within a Healthcare environment.
- Proven track record of a team-based, collaborative sales approach to advance opportunities in a territory.

Benefits & Compensation
- Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750
