CVS Health is hiring an Actuary - Small Group to contribute to our mission of building a world of health around every consumer. This role is responsible for rate development and filings in the Small Group ACA markets and monitoring financial results for the segment. You will act as a strategic partner to help achieve profitability and membership goals.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate pricing and filing work required for several states.
- Set and manage your own priorities to meet pre-established deadlines, acting independently with limited guidance.
- Cultivate relationships with local regulators and negotiate terms of rate filings and approvals.
- Devise responsible pricing strategies to help grow membership based on data and business acumen.
- Navigate several data points, rationalize recommended courses of action, and work with different areas to understand data.
- Monitor financials for several states and communicate with business partners.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years of related experience.
- ASA credential or actuarial exams passed.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work with large and detailed data sets.
- Strong communication skills.
- Solid technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Experience with ACA markets.
