Responsibilities
- Carry out various lower-skilled maintenance duties.
- Support journeyman by providing, lifting, and holding materials or tools.
- Complete unskilled tasks as instructed by a journeyman.
- Operate specialized machinery when required.
- Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 0 to 1 year of work experience, ideally in construction or maintenance.
- Ability to follow label instructions for safe and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Effective communication skills to respond to customer and colleague inquiries.
- Interpersonal skills to establish productive working relationships.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and apply measurements.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting work priorities and cover absences to sustain service quality.
- Capability to manage and accurately track materials and time, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and practical reasoning skills.
