Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks throughout the property, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disposing of waste in shared spaces
- Perform exterior maintenance as assigned, including collecting litter, cleaning waste disposal zones, clearing debris, and using blowers or pressure washers on hardscapes
- Clean and maintain breezeways by eliminating cobwebs, cleaning light fixtures, wiping handrails and doors, and mopping or power washing floors
- Conduct basic yard work such as trimming plants, pruning shrubs, watering greenery, inspecting irrigation systems for issues, and clearing dead vegetation
- Support unit turnover by helping prepare vacant apartments, including removing leftover trash and debris before cleaning and repairs begin
- Safely operate and maintain tools and machinery such as pressure washers, backpack blowers, floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, sweepers, and utility vehicles
- Help maintain swimming facilities by testing water chemistry, adjusting chemical levels, cleaning filters, and performing routine pool cleaning
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues during and after regular hours, including on-call emergencies
- Complete assigned service requests and repair tasks within one to two days and update digital records accordingly
- Track open assignments and communicate realistic timelines for resolution
- Repair structural and cosmetic damage to uphold the property’s visual appeal and functional integrity
- Follow all internal safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards and environmental regulations
- Notify supervisors of supply shortages and keep storage and work areas orderly
