Armstrong Ceilings & Walls Solutions, a division of Armstrong World Industries, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within our manufacturing plant. In this onsite role in Macon, Georgia, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety while leading a team of maintenance technicians.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Schedule maintenance team activities to maximize production efficiency and minimize operational costs.
- Utilize maintenance resources effectively to support performance objectives related to safety, downtime reduction, scrap reduction, and product quality.
- Develop and lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Respond to and manage maintenance emergencies to minimize operational disruption.
- Lead and mentor maintenance technicians to support skill development and team performance.
- Enforce plant safety standards and housekeeping practices.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure team success.
- Ensure production equipment and outputs meet required customer and company quality specifications.
- Collaborate with management and employees to resolve operational issues, concerns, or grievances.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance systems and plant performance.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma required.
- 3+ years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems.
- Proficiency with computer software and maintenance management tools.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment preferred.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $95,000 to $120,000 per year.

This position requires you to be onsite at our manufacturing facility located in Macon, Georgia.
