About the Role

BASF is looking for a versatile Maintenance Staff member to ensure the reliability, safety, and environmental compliance of our production equipment, site utilities, and facilities. You will be integral to the operational readiness of our chemical plant, performing multi-disciplinary maintenance and emergency response.

What You'll Do

  • Manage buildings, facilities, and related equipment to maintain a safe, ready condition, performing emergency repairs via an on-call system.
  • Execute and adjust maintenance plans for production, utilities, and facilities to ensure reliability, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage notified or maintenance work based on urgency with area owners.
  • Perform multi-skilled maintenance covering electrical, mechanical, piping, and welding work.
  • Inspect, repair, install, and improve low-voltage electrical systems, motors, control cabinets, and related equipment.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance on rotating machinery, pumps, gears, and valves, including parts replacement and alignment.
  • Conduct piping system installation, improvement, repair, adjustment, support, and leak fixing per engineering standards.
  • Perform metal welding for maintenance repairs and small part fabrication, adhering to safety and quality requirements.
  • Support emergency repairs and machine breakdown troubleshooting across all assigned disciplines.
  • Support installation or contractor management for improvement and project work related to utility systems and buildings.
  • Advise and supervise contractors to work under BASF safety and operational standards.
  • Create, record, and update documents such as work orders, inspection reports, PM plans, and equipment history.
  • Record maintenance activities, inspection results, root cause analysis, and corrective actions in designated systems.
  • Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support planning, reporting, data recording, and coordination.
  • Manage and update maintenance data, PM plans, spare parts lists, and perform basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Control and store documents systematically according to company procedures and ISO requirements.
  • Disseminate technical knowledge to team members for shared learning.
  • Strictly follow and implement occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and practices.

What We're Looking For

  • A Vocational Certificate (Higher Vocational Certificate - ปวส.) in a field related to mechanics or electricity.
  • At least 3 years of direct experience in maintenance work within manufacturing or the chemical industry.
  • An understanding of chemical production or plant processes.
  • Expertise in comprehensive maintenance covering electrical, mechanical, piping, and welding systems.
  • The ability to read and analyze basic electrical, mechanical, and piping diagrams correctly.
