The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is looking for a Maintenance Repair Technician to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our Medical, Educational, and Research facilities. This position is vital to the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of patients, students, and employees across our campus.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance of life safety systems and other critical equipment for Medical, Educational, and Research facilities.
- Assist with all problems and emergencies relating to facility issues on the UAMS Campus.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of general maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than 12 points on your Motor Vehicle Record.
- Novice computer and smartphone proficiency.
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of maintenance experience in a healthcare setting.
- Intermediate computer and smartphone proficiency.
