Graphic Packaging International is looking for a Maintenance Planning/Scheduling Associate responsible for developing comprehensive maintenance programs and plans. You will play a key role in managing tracking systems, optimizing resources, and supporting our commitment to producing safe, quality products within our innovative and community-focused packaging company.
What You'll Do
- Develop maintenance programs and plans for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Manage the work order and maintenance tracking systems.
- Establish survey and inspection programs.
- Maximize the utilization of maintenance resources.
- Be responsible for spare parts strategy.
- Ensure warranty issues are resolved.
- Participate in the preparation of the maintenance budget, providing cost estimates for projects; monitor costs against budget.
- Support turnaround activities; assist in development of critical path plans and budgets.
- Provide information for weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with operations management and procurement staff.
- Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures related to production of Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
- Report any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
- Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions as required.
- Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
- Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority.

- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree.

Contacts are primarily with immediate work team and management; occasional interaction with other groups.
