Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage the maintenance and housekeeping departments of our facility. You'll be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, as well as maintaining buildings, grounds, and utility systems.
What You'll Do
- Conduct safety and personnel training and troubleshoot equipment for both the manufacturing filling process and the physical plant.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvement items in maintenance and manufacturing areas to eliminate waste and non-conforming product.
- Assist in preparing and executing the Preventative Maintenance Plan.
- Direct the maintenance staff to analyze mechanical and operational problems on equipment and manage necessary corrective actions.
- Test and make running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Oversee and manage maintenance activity outsourced to contractors.
- Help develop and maintain measurement systems to track key performance parameters like machine uptime and PM programs.
- Review and approve monthly maintenance expenditures to ensure profitability.
- Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance of equipment, products, and procedures to the Quality System for FDA and cGMP practices.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, and directing teams.
- At least 7 years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- Ability to work overtime and be available for on-call requests as needed.
- Must be able to wear a full face respirator.
- Must be able to work in hot and humid conditions.
- Experience in liquid filling in a cGMP, FDA Environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
