Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Machinist to ensure the efficient operation of mold room equipment and machinery under limited supervision. You will play a key role in maintaining process integrity and supporting our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Set up multiple and/or complex machines as specified by work order, meeting all requirements for sequence, proper setup, shutdown, mold storage, and lockout-tag out procedures.
- Perform machine testing during and after setup.
- Install and test machine monitor equipment and safety devices.
- Troubleshoot and correct a variety of machine and process issues.
- Monitor machine performance to optimize process and resolve problems.
- Provide expertise and support on complex issues escalated by junior level staff.
- Assist in root cause analysis on machine issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Write maintenance work orders for quality part and general machine issues.
- Identify and document process parameters.
- Ensure machines, tools, molds, and the general work space are clean and orderly.
