What You'll Do
Assess potential acquisitions that support long-term strategic goals, using financial modeling and valuation techniques to evaluate transaction viability. Develop detailed analyses of investment returns and transaction economics using discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company benchmarks, and precedent transaction reviews.
Lead due diligence efforts across financial, regulatory, tax, and operational domains, preparing comprehensive materials for executive decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Product to evaluate structural and regulatory implications of cross-border transactions.
Design and execute integration plans that align acquired entities with existing financial reporting standards, accounting policies, and internal controls. Oversee the alignment of ERP systems, financial infrastructure, and reporting frameworks, monitoring progress and identifying risks post-acquisition. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and synergies across merged operations.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, including DCF, multiples analysis, and valuation synthesis
- Familiarity with cross-border tax structures, regulatory licensing, and international payments systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex, multi-jurisdictional challenges
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and coordinating inputs from diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in tax or legal matters related to corporate transactions
- CPA certification or equivalent credential
