GitLab is hiring a M365 Change Management Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the client's existing environment to identify change requirements and establish a starting point for transformation
  • Conduct change assessments, pinpoint key stakeholders, and collaborate with sponsors to define project objectives and measures of success
  • Collaborate with clients, project leads, and technical experts to develop and execute change strategies aligned with industry best practices
  • Develop and implement change initiatives that may include communication plans, workforce training, capability building, and governance frameworks
  • Apply a consistent methodology to manage change activities within the agreed project scope and statement of work
  • Design and lead interactive workshops to help clients understand how to configure and deploy Microsoft tools effectively to meet or surpass business goals
  • Identify and suggest new client opportunities based on insights gained during project delivery
  • Develop and strengthen executive sponsorship for change initiatives
  • Provide coaching to managers and supervisors to support team transitions
  • Support employee growth and readiness throughout organizational change
  • Contribute to broader organizational development efforts during transformation
  • Identify, analyze, and address resistance to change through targeted strategies
  • Develop, document, and refine governance processes and procedures
  • Establish and manage early adopter or change champion programs to drive engagement
  • Collaborate with internal project leads and technical staff to design effective change solutions
  • Lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) components, including planning key milestones and tasks for project delivery
  • Advise on change decisions and justifications when necessary
  • Manage the OCM workstream independently or with a small team, especially on larger engagements
  • Coordinate with internal leadership to monitor the effectiveness and progress of OCM activities
  • Maintain transparent and truthful communication
  • Actively listen and interact with others in a respectful manner
  • Foster strong, constructive relationships across diverse teams
  • Engage effectively with individuals of varying backgrounds, skills, and personalities
  • Take personal responsibility for actions and outcomes
  • Lead individual or small OCM teams to deliver successful project results
