Lucasfilm is offering a Summer 2026 internship for an Agentic AI Intern to join our Information Technology team. This role provides hands-on experience developing autonomous AI agents that automate and enhance IT support operations.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and normalize IT service data, including knowledge articles and support tickets, for AI training.
- Build and test workflows for multi-agentic environments.
- Develop autonomous AI agents for triaging and resolving common IT issues.
- Research and create a proof-of-concept for AI-driven first-tier IT support.
- Ensure production technology readiness for Feature Production projects.
- Test new products and assist with technology deployments and infrastructure audits.
- Support technology refresh cycles and server deployments.
- Assist in creating and updating knowledge base articles for end-user support portals.
- Document processes, project results, and prepare clear presentations and reports.
- Contribute to daily tasks: inventory, ticket handling, troubleshooting.
- Support system builds, network wiring, system upgrades, and operational refreshes.
What We're Looking For
- Attention to detail, adaptability, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts and an interest in software testing and quality assurance.
- Motivated to work on collaborative, real-world AI projects.
- Enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class the semester/quarter prior to the internship and returning the semester/quarter after.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Nice to Have
- Previous IT support experience.
- Experience with Windows and Mac systems; familiarity with Linux.
- Knowledge of database concepts and vector embeddings.
- Proficient in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; familiarity with film/video post-production and computer graphics is highly desired.
- Junior or Senior year preferred.
- Major or previous coursework in Film, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Compensation: $31.00 per hour.
