What You'll Do
- Assembles and reviews new mortgage applications
- Matches applicants with appropriate mortgage programs
- Handles loan files until loan documents are requested and closing is scheduled
- Assists borrowers in determining the proper loan program
- Completes loan applications and gathers required supporting documentation
- Conducts preliminary underwriting reviews
- Remains the front-line contact with borrowers throughout the loan process
- Obtains and analyzes credit reports
- Is heavily involved with clients during the application and closing process
- Develops referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other sources
- Proactively solicits new business
What We're Looking For
- Minimum two years of mortgage loan origination experience
- Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage products and programs
- Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
- Thorough knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending, such as Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, and others
- Ability to analyze financial information
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A pleasant and professional demeanor
- Sound judgment and diplomacy
- Outlook proficiency
- Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E Act of 2008
- Ability to travel

The minimum estimated hourly rate for this role is $15.00, with actual pay varying based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Eligibility to earn monthly commissions.
Work Mode
