BancFirst is looking for a Loan Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for making and servicing business and individual loans, which can be complex and involve significant secured and unsecured credit. You will handle credits of all sizes and play a key part in portfolio growth and management.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and manage existing credit relationships, including renewals, financial analysis, collateral valuations, and covenant monitoring.
- Negotiate loan proposals, analyze credit requests, write loan commitments, and prepare detailed credit memorandums for approval.
- Develop new business by calling on existing and prospective customers and promoting Bank services.
- Participate in community and professional activities to enhance the Bank's image and expand your business network.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as requested.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of experience underwriting Commercial Loans as well as Consumer Loan experience.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums.
- Proven ability to grow a quality loan portfolio and meet annual performance goals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive verbal and written reports and presentations.
- Efficient computer skills, including knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree, with a Business major or Formal Credit training preferred.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Prague, Oklahoma.
