Position Overview: The Sales Assistant provides critical support to NHLS's mortgage loan officers in daily responsibilities to enhance loan production levels. The Sales Assistant collaborates directly with organizational customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure exceptional customer experiences and facilitate efficient loan closings. Job Responsibilities: - Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, involving phone/computer tasks, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, document transmission - Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers - Generate rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages for borrower distribution - Examine documents and complete loan files, proactively identifying potential issues - Clarify/correct information and acquire additional details via communication channels - Provide general administrative and telecommunication support to loan professionals - Collaborate with management across lending and processing stages - Manage pipeline involving conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans, and specialized mortgage products - Coordinate appraisal and property valuation deliveries - Monitor outstanding loan file items and ensure documentation completion - Facilitate timely loan closings through direct coordination with title companies and customers Qualifications and Skills: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Minimum one-year mortgage industry experience with customer interaction - Previous sales support background preferred - Salesforce platform familiarity preferred - Superior communication and customer service capabilities - Advanced prioritization and time management skills - Microsoft Office application proficiency This job description intends to convey essential position insights and general work expectations, acknowledging that it may not comprehensively represent all potential responsibilities or working conditions.
