About the Role
The analyst performs technical and professional work in administering loan programs, including processing applications, verifying eligibility, tracking disbursements, and preparing reports to ensure accurate and timely loan servicing.
Responsibilities
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Verify applicant eligibility based on program guidelines
- Enter and update loan data in agency systems
- Monitor loan disbursement schedules
- Track repayment activity and outstanding balances
- Respond to inquiries from borrowers and partners
- Prepare reports on loan portfolio performance
- Identify discrepancies in loan records
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with state and federal loan regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams on data sharing
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
- Assist in developing process improvements
- Participate in system testing for loan platforms
- Follow established procedures for documentation
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors
- Maintain accurate filing systems for loan files
- Support program evaluations with data analysis
- Stay current with changes in loan policies
Nice to Have

Compensation
