Adfinis AG is hiring a Linux System Engineer focused on automation to support critical Linux-based infrastructures for customers across all industries. This remote-first role offers the flexibility to work 80-100%. You'll join a company that drives digitalization with open-source technology and a down-to-earth culture between a small tech shop and a large corporation.
What You'll Do
- Discover customer needs and provide proactive solutions.
- Build, enhance, and maintain robust IT systems.
- Handle on-site appointments to solve technical challenges.
- Improve services and introduce new ideas that add real value.
- Create clear, high-quality documentation.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for automation and experience implementing it with Ansible or Terraform.
- A knack for troubleshooting and building resilient systems.
- Knowledge of Red Hat and/or SUSE products.
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1) and good English skills (minimum B2).
Nice to Have
- Certification in Red Hat or SUSE products.
- Experience with git and git workflows.
- Experience with web servers like Apache or Nginx.
- Experience with databases such as MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with user authentication (LDAP, OIDC).
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
- Experience with virtualization (Proxmox, KVM).
- Experience with storage (NFS, iSCSI).
