Nexstar Media Inc. is looking for a Lifestyle Show Host to lead a daily television program. In this role, you will be responsible for hosting the show, conducting in-studio interviews, and participating in on-location segments as scheduled.
What You'll Do
- Provide daily on-camera contributions to a daily television show.
- Assist the Executive Producer with writing show segments.
- Interview show guests and clients both in studio and on location.
- Collect information, video, or photos at remote locations for post-production.
- Greet and assist guests during show preparations.
- Research show topics and develop questions for guests in coordination with the Executive Producer.
- Attend daily show meetings.
- Assist sales on presentations including meeting with clients.
- Participate in events to promote the show.
- Maintain the show's social media account and assist with all online and streaming content as directed by the Producers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in film, photography, television, news, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a host or on-air personality.
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines.
- Must be energetic, positive, and great in a team environment.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A video introduction is required.
Nice to Have
- Five years of experience preferred.
- Degree in or working knowledge of health and medical topics and/or nutrition and fitness preferred.
