About the Role
This position involves guiding Ohio-based clients through life insurance options by assessing individual needs and recommending suitable policies. The advisor ensures clients understand their benefits, supports enrollment, and maintains long-term relationships through consistent, compliant service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to evaluate financial goals and protection needs
- Explain various life insurance products and policy structures in clear, accessible language
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate coverage based on individual or family circumstances
- Prepare and present customized benefit proposals aligned with client objectives
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding policy status or changes
- Support enrollment processes and ensure documentation is completed accurately
- Stay current on regulatory standards and product updates in the insurance industry
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate policy approvals
- Monitor expiring policies and initiate renewal discussions
- Identify opportunities for expanded coverage through periodic client reviews
- Ensure compliance with state-specific insurance regulations
- Escalate complex cases to senior advisors when necessary
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge
- Use CRM tools to manage client portfolios and track follow-ups
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information
- Coordinate with third-party administrators when needed
- Provide guidance during claims processes
- Assist in resolving policy discrepancies
