ChenMed, a family-owned and physician-led organization transforming healthcare for seniors, is looking for a Licensed Physician Reviewer - Neurology. In this remote role, you will be the primary physician reviewer for Clinical Appropriateness Reviews cases, advising other reviewers and participating in process and quality improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Provide Clinical Appropriateness Reviews by covering specified territories as assigned.
- Establish 2-3 cases a day for each market covered (up to 6 markets).
- Ensure attendance on all health plan and local calls.
- Call in for weekly Primary Care Provider (PCP) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) meetings for assigned territories.
- Advise other physician reviewers.
- Participate in Process and Quality improvement for Delegated Utilization Management.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate from an accredited Medical School with a valid, unrestricted license.
- Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Practice residency.
- Completion of a Fellowship in Neurology.
- Board Certification in your residency area.
- Board Certified in Neurology.
Nice to Have
- Two (2) years’ experience in Hospital medicine.
- At least one (1) year of utilization review experience.
