About the Role

eHealth is hiring a Licensed Carrier Associate Benefit Advisor to guide beneficiaries through selecting health insurance coverage. In this seasonal call center role, you will listen, consult, and advise clients over the phone, partnering with top national and regional health insurance companies.

What You'll Do

  • Guide beneficiaries as they navigate selecting their health insurance coverage.
  • Listen, consult, and advise clients over the phone on their health insurance options.
  • Ensure customers get the right coverage for their situation.
  • Spend the work day on the phone answering calls from beneficiaries.
  • Occasionally make outbound calls to follow up on leads.
  • Meet daily sales metrics and goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently possess an active health insurance license.
  • Must be released from any current appointments 12 days prior to your start date.
  • Comfortable working in a seasonal capacity until December 8th.
  • Align with eHealth’s mission and demonstrate our values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.
  • Must be able to work 5:00 AM-7:00 PM PST, including weekends as needed.
  • Must be available to work extended hours and overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period, October 15th to December 7th.
  • Must undergo extensive background checks, including lifetime criminal background and credit history reports.

Nice to Have

  • Previous sales experience or a passion for learning and growing in a sales role.
  • Strong technical skills; can easily navigate between multiple systems.
  • Coachable and teachable.
  • High level of integrity and customer focus.

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 USD
