ABOUT THE ROLE We're on the hunt for a Legal Solutions Expert who wants to break free from the billable hour and dive into a high-impact role that sits at the perfect intersection of legal practice, product design, and sales enablement. Picture this: you'll be working hand-in-hand with our Product and Sales teams to ensure Spellbook tackles the real-world challenges lawyers face every day. Your transactional law background—especially if you've seen the legal world from both private practice and in-house perspectives—will be the secret sauce in bridging legal workflows with technical execution. If legal tech gets your heart racing, you're passionate about transforming how lawyers work, and you're eager to scale your impact across hundreds of legal teams, we want to meet you. RESPONSIBILITIES • Translate real-world transactional workflows into actionable product features and enhancements. • Participate in feature discovery, development and testing, turning customer insights into crystal-clear product requirements. • Jump into sales calls, demos, and RFPs as our legal expert. Help Customer Success Managers boost adoption through targeted training and guidance. • Craft playbooks and training materials for in-house legal teams. Then transform these into refined product training packs, comprehensive documentation, and thought-leadership content that packs a punch. • Represent Spellbook at webinars, CLE sessions, and industry events, showcasing your legal expertise and our product leadership. • Support other responsibilities and projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS • A qualified lawyer with 3–5 years of transactional experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure. • Deep familiarity with contract negotiation, drafting, and review workflows. • An understanding of Large Language Models and the modern AI landscape. • A natural self-starter with killer product instincts—you're pumped to build, iterate, and drive things forward without waiting for a detailed playbook. • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, sales teams, and external customers. • Strong communicator with experience presenting to legal and business audiences (bonus points for CLE or training leadership). NICE TO HAVES • Experience working with or at a legal tech or SaaS company. • Familiarity with sales processes, RFPs, or customer enablement in a B2B setting. • Technical curiosity or experience working with product/engineering teams.
