Dentons US LLP is recruiting a Legal Intern for its Real Estate practice group in New York City. This role provides direct exposure to law and business through hands-on client work under the direction of lawyers and paraprofessionals.
What You'll Do
- Assist with preparation and proofing of transactional documents, including creating signature pages, updating footers, and creating PDFs.
- Facilitate coordination of entity and property due diligence.
- Prepare synopsis of parties and funding descriptions for real estate transactions.
- Follow up on recorded documents and title policies, managing distribution to custodians.
- Prepare closing indexes and binders and ensure post-closing obligations are met.
- Establish and maintain electronic client files using the firm's document management system.
- Review and analyze legal agreements, preparing abstracts upon request.
- Perform research on factual issues and assist in preparing legal analysis.
- Monitor and report on key industry developments.

- Availability to work overtime to support business needs when necessary.
