About the Role
The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for new clients, collecting essential information, assessing case eligibility, and guiding individuals through initial legal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for incoming client inquiries via phone and email
- Conduct initial client interviews to gather personal and case-related details
- Evaluate potential cases based on firm practice areas and intake criteria
- Enter client data into case management systems accurately and securely
- Explain legal processes and next steps to prospective clients
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information in compliance with legal standards
- Coordinate with attorneys to assign qualified leads for review
- Follow up with clients to obtain missing documentation or clarify details
- Track intake metrics and report on conversion rates and call volume
- Identify client concerns and refer urgent matters to appropriate staff
- Maintain organized records of all intake interactions
- Stay current on relevant legal procedures and firm protocols
- Assist in refining intake scripts and questionnaires for clarity and effectiveness
- Support consistency in client communication across all intake channels
- Escalate complex inquiries to supervising attorneys when necessary
- Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements during intake
- Manage high call volume while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Document client eligibility determinations clearly and objectively
- Collaborate with operations staff to improve workflow efficiency
- Adapt communication style to suit diverse client backgrounds and needs
Nice to Have
