Cardinal Group is hiring a Leasing Community Intern to deliver high-quality customer service and support our goal of 100% occupancy. In this onsite role, you will be an ambassador for our residents and contribute directly to leasing and community operations.
What You'll Do
- Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Perform administrative front desk tasks and duties.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training and utilize its principles to greet prospects, conduct tours, and close sales.
- Complete all lease applications and paperwork, maintaining accurate lease file documentation.
- Pass third-party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the community tour path.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospects, and vendors.
- Participate in and assist with planning community events.
- Assist with various additional community projects as assigned.
- Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
- Handle 'On-call' responsibilities such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Work evenings and weekends.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university.
- Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- Must live on the designated community floor as assigned by the Community Manager.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
