Maples Group is hiring a Learning and Development Lead

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members, HR colleagues, and the broader organization to pinpoint learning needs aligned with current and future talent requirements.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop the Instructional Design team to deliver high-quality learning solutions through effective task allocation, skill enhancement, and performance management.
  • Work with the Learning and Development Director and L&D colleagues to create, implement, and maintain a comprehensive learning and development strategy and policies.
  • Partner with functional areas and subject matter experts to assess target audience training needs and design appropriate training solutions.
  • Develop learning materials, especially for instructor-led sessions, including slides, facilitator guides, and learner guides.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designer colleagues to support e-learning content creation.
  • Facilitate in-house soft skills and management skills programs in both classroom and online settings.
  • Coordinate all activities related to Maples Group Leadership Development, including executive education programs, in collaboration with colleagues and external vendors.
  • Leverage new technologies and innovative approaches to enhance learning and development processes where feasible.
  • Work with L&D colleagues to improve efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of learning plans and initiatives.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to program delivery, such as reporting, scheduling, and releasing training via the Learning Management System.
  • Collaborate with the Global L&D Programme Coordinator on program coordination and record keeping.
  • Act in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal risk management requirements, including compliance with policies and procedures.

Nice to Have

  • Train the Trainer qualification or completed personal development in facilitation skills is an advantage.
  • Experience in developing soft skills training, behavioral training, or management skills training is an advantage.
