What You'll Do
Lead a team of engineers and consultants in the design and implementation of complex, multi-vendor IT environments focused on networking and security. Guide technical delivery from planning through execution, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and company standards. Support sales teams with solution design, scoping, and accurate documentation.
Act as a technical escalation point for challenging deployments and provide mentorship to team members. Develop repeatable service offerings by collaborating with national practice leads and services leadership. Lead internal training sessions monthly to strengthen team capabilities and maintain technical alignment across projects.
Build and sustain relationships with key technology vendors. Represent the organization in technical discussions, gain access to lab resources, and stay current with evolving product roadmaps. Contribute to standardized assessment and testing frameworks used across the company.
Ensure quality assurance across all projects within the region. Work closely with the Services Director on resource planning, performance input, and team development strategies. Support hiring initiatives to grow the professional services team in your region.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of hands-on IT experience, with at least 5 years in a consultant or architect capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless, and security infrastructure
- Extensive experience with Cisco (including Meraki), Palo Alto, and Fortinet platforms
- Recent project experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus Data Broker, Nexus Dashboard, and DNAC
- Strong working knowledge of PA Prisma, PA Prisma Cloud, and Fortinet SD-WAN
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior staff
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation abilities
- Strong business acumen, including understanding of costing, pricing, and P&L impact
- Ability to manage difficult conversations with both internal teams and clients
- Valid degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
- Must maintain advanced certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or VCDX
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 20% to customer locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet wireless solutions
- Current CCIE certification in Networking
